Rose’s Advice To Rahm And Other Young Players

Before the start of the Irish Open, once US Open champion Justin Rose, give out some sobering advice to young players Jon Rahm and other.


He suggests them that players should know how to control their excitement and anger. Sometime, it becomes important to keep the behavioral conduct in control.

Rahm, who is now just 22 years old, is one of the most exciting and talent golfers in the new generation golfers. He drew lots of criticism for his unsporting manners before missing the cut at Erin Hills in the US Open.

Rahm showed hot temperament in rural Wisconsin, where players like Hideki Matsuyama and Rickie Fowler were there.

This action of Rahm, who is from the United States sent many of his fans onto social media to register his hot-tempered before he made it to the US Open championship with scores of 76 and 73. He missed the cut by five strokes.

Luke Donald At Harbor Town

Luke Donald has been waiting a victory at Harbor Town for a long time and he was hopeful that it would take place this time.


However, Wesley Bryan spoiled his plans and he ended by in the second position at RBC Heritage. This has been a recurrent trend, being the fifth time that he has finished second in this tournament in a time span of nine years. Wesley Bryan on the other hand, was lucky to have gained his first title of the PGA Tour. This venue of the tournament was at Harbor Town Golf Links.

For those who have followed the news of the tournament, Donald was lagging behind Jason Dufner for about four shots in the final round. This time his efforts reaped greater rewards as he finished second, whereas he has finished in the third position in about two occasions. WOODS PREPARES FOR EPIC COMEBACK

Tiger Woods was out recently to show the world that he was still yet alive as he made preparations for an epic comeback to the game after a sixteen month time out due to a back injury which had threatened to bring an end to his career.


Woods, 40 years old, had insisted as the Hero World Challenge began in Bahamas last weekend that he is “ready to go”

The former No. 1 who is now down to world No. 896, due to his period out has not featured in any competitive action for a while now due to the surgery he went through.

The American superstar was quoted as saying,

“I’m not dead. I’m ready to go. I want to compete.’’

Woods, was forced to pull out of his planned return two months back at the Safeway Open after he admitted that his game was vulnerable.

Woods added,

Matt, Looks Forward To Olympics

For those who train and aim for Olympic appearance, they definitely find it in their destiny if they finally make the eligibility list.


That is what the case seems to be for Matt Kuchar. He states that earning a berth in the Olympic Games this year at Rio seems to be in his fate. The American professional player has maintained a focused vision about Rio and any impending perils like the possibility of getting affected by Zika virus or the plummeting state of the economy or security level concerns cannot remove his focus from his goal in the Games. Kuchar states that his vision is to have the gold medal being slipped around his neck. He is hoping that golf would make a major comeback in the Olympic Games this year. Indeed, the game is being hosted at this venue and being included as part of the Games after an absence of 112 years.

Masters: Ratings affected by Tiger Woods absense

Tiger Woods is still apparently a deciding factor in the world of gold, especially when it comes to the audience interest, even keeping in mind the ever increasing popularity of Jordan Spieth and his goal of a second straight Masters win.


On Thursday, in the 1st round of Masters, ESPN attracted a 1.7 rating, averaging out 2.398 million viewers, as per Nielsen Fast National numbers. It was down from a 2.2 (3.218 million) viewers previous year, with Tiger in the pack.

It was said that the first round figures were much better than the ratings in 2014, the last year in where Tiger Woods was not in the pack. ESPN registered a 1.5 rating with a 2.006 million viewers. Woods has not played in any golf tournament as he recovers from his surgeries.

Woods is missing from this years Augusta National list for the second time in 3 years. He confirmed on Wednesday that he had amplified up his practice routine and was hitting the huge dog on his home course in Jupiter, Florida.

Matt Kuchar All Set To Defend Title

Kuchar (Matt) has always been quite a predictable in pro golf since long.

He has taken part in 119 PGA events over 5 seasons starting from the year 2010 till 2014, recording forty eight top-ten finished & 84 top-twenty five finishes.

He is probably the sole golfer who did not endure any slump at that time.

However, the results have not been there in the last 2 months for RBC Heritage defending champ.

In typical style, Matt started this year with 5 top-25s in a row, including 1 runner up & a 3rd position. He has not ever missed out on cut in the past 6 events since February & yet he has just 2 top-25s & a top 15th finish.

“It had been tad frustrating, the past 2 weeks. It has not been typical play for me”, stated the champion golfer.
