Matt Kuchar is a professional golfer hailing from the United States of America who is a member of the US PGA Tour.
Kuchar has won seven titles on the US PGA Tour in a professional career that has spanned twelve years. He briefly enjoyed lot of success during the early 2000s but he suffered a dip in form and struggled to maintain his status as a member of the US PGA Tour. But he managed to rediscover his touch, rejuvenating himself with a new and one plane swing and came back stronger from 2008 and this led to improved results for him on the Tour.
The biggest win that Matt Kuchar has managed in his career is The Players Championship title, the flagship event of the US PGA Tour, which he won in 2012. As a result of this win at The Players Championship, Kuchar reached a career high ranking of five in the Official World Golf Rankings, and since then, he has spent more than forty weeks inside the top ten.
In February of 2013, Kuchar secured his first ever title in the World Golf Championships when he won the World Golf Championship – Accenture Match Play Championship defeating fellow American Hunter Mahan in the final.
Matt Kuchar remains one of the most consistent players currently playing on the US PGA Tour and has won an estimated $ 15 million for his exploits on the golf course. Apart from winning a major title, Kuchar remains a highly decorated player on the golf course.
